Writing Tea
Manifesting is real!
Last month, I said I had a huge teaser about the things that will happen in the next year. I can finally spill it.
I am so excited to be part of the Generous Press/Row House family. Their mission to bring forth BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disable romance is one that I am wholeheartedly for. I am so glad that Tanika and Gideon’s story, one of love, romance, second chances and a touch of the supernatural, is one that I hope everyone loves and relates to. Just like with The Oath, Losing Sight was a risk and I think it is something that folks will enjoy.
Shout out to my friend Terri, who sent me the initial announcement. I gave it a lot of thought and prayer, and moved forward. I am so glad that I did.
Speaking of The Oath, I am happy to announce that The Oath, as well as the next two books in the series, will also be available on AUDIOBOOK.
I am so excited that Dreamscape has taken an interest in it. The Oath will be releasing on May 14, 2024 and pre-orders are up at Amazon, Kobo and B&N.
Also, The Oath is available via Ingram for indie and other places to order as a paperback.
The Offer, book 2 is done and heading to edits.. Thanks to my beta readers who did an amazing job of giving me feedback. The Opportunity, the last book in the series. is in the rough stages but it is an slight age-gap, sexual awakening book. I think you all will enjoy it.
Also, I listened to feedback, and we have a new illustrator for the cover. I am so excited to work with Maddness108, a sister who is incredibly talented. She already has a vision for the next two books and you all are going to love it.
Podcast Tea
The Podcast is heading into The Love Season. February is going to have some really hot topics and guests. As a reminder,…We are also now offering advertising slots on the podcast. If you are interested in our rates, please let us know and contact us so that we can invoice you.
We are not accepting any more slots for interviews. For those empty slots we will either be on break or have special episodes. Stay tuned!
Random Tea
This February, I will be part of the inaugural Atlanta Love Ya’ll Fest in Decatur. It’s right in my backyard and I am so hype to meet my colleagues and fellow romance writers. I will be a part of 4 panels and I will also have two signings as well. Check out the schedule for the Feb 17-18 and come and see me if you can!
Tati is Reading
I’ve decided to do a Beverly Jenkins historical re-read this year. I started with the classic Night Song, followed by Vivid.
My next one oh my list is Indigo.
Indigo is my favorite book from Beverly Jenkins. Galen is the ultimate book boyfriends. I have 26 more books to go. I am enjoying the availability of almost all of them from my library’s HOOPLA.
I also read one short novella, entitled Birthday Girl by Brandy Bush.
It was an age gap erotica about a woman turning 45 and a 30 year old chef that took care of her all birthday week in Mexico. I loved it. Not sure what I am going to read next. My time is super limited but if you have some short, sweet novella or audiobook recs, always inbox me!
I know this newsletter seems really short but the truth is, I am exhausted and I have a LOT to handle in these next few months. Send up a prayer for me! And stay tuned to all the other news that is coming, including some bonus chapters and exclusives.
Until next time,
